After several iterations of my new runabout design here shown is as it appears on my laptop screen.
This includes a transom view of the skeletal drawing with dimensions. simply set for an example of the power of CAD .
Fusion360 is the programme used and at ten cross sectional drawings I can take off all the measurements required to form the frames of a boat in full size. In addiion I can arrange the frames onto a jig that will keep them all aligned and fimly in place during the build process that would keep me busy for about six months.
The design has probably taken me longer to draw and select than the woodworking to follow. All enjoyable and keeping my head busy in the small hours of the day.
