The R.N.L.I. comes to the rescue

 Father and son Graham and Matthew were looking forward to a Monday early morning fishing trip targeting Bass.

However the little Honda outboard motor has revealed fuel line problems and spluttered to a halt, briefly revived by means of the choke to admit more fuel. We noticed the lifeboat leave harbour shortly after we left and it headed off to wards Berry Head to bring back another small boat in trouble.

Once that one was retrieved it was our turn to jump aboard the inshore lifeboat behind two 115hp outboards. Having only very recently had the Honda serviced, I am not relishing the prospect of another bill from the marine services shop.

Towards the end of this video you will notice our little wooden craft on tow riding unusually high in the water and tracking behind straight and true.

 The longest day and summer solstice is here.  What a great day I had with son Matthew showing me the knots and tangles of Bass fishing .. If the fish won't bite there is always the need for speed to lift the spirits.  Here we are having a blast .......
