Showers, gales and summertime traffic deters many a good trip out in the Morgan this month.
This afternoon I was trying to catch the light on the ripening cornfield nearby but even that was cut short by a rain shower.
Now looking forward to Sidmouth Folk Festival starting Friday 31st July come rain or shine...
What a difference a day makes - Here we are at Dartmouth, enjoying , diet coke and tea. A new footpath steps down to the secluded cove below the castle.

Torcross felt warmer than Dartmouth as the sun shone through at last. Helen and me enjoyed fish and chips at the Start Bay Inn. Many more swans than usual appear on Slapton Ley and I guess there were at least 50 to be seen on the water.
